Practical example: 

Attach and associate the invoices from your accounting software with the company record in HubSpot

Go to the PocketKnife App and log in the and select "File manager"
Download the sample files

A. The files you want to upload can be reached  by means of a URL.

  1. create an .xlsx called manifest.xlsx
  2. you do not use a header row
  3. each row is a file you want to upload
    1. in col A add the object you you want to link to
    2. in col B you add the record ID you want to add the attachment
    3. in col C you type the full path to the file
    4. in col D you write the new name of the file
  4. you save the .xlsx file 
  5. upload the file in PocketKnife

B. You have the files only local available 

  1. create an .xlsx called manifest.xlsx
  2. do not use a header row
  3. each row is a file you want to upload
    1. in col A add the object you you want to link to
    2. in col B you add the record ID you want to add the attachment
    3. in col C you type the correct name of the file
    4. in col D you write the new name of the file
  4. you save the manifest.xlsx + all the files in a zip
  5. you upload the zip to HubSpot using the PocketKnife website
